In this school project in such hot climate area in Upper Egypt like El Minia, designer tried to decrease the heat loads of the building by using external double walls of hollow clay blocks and heat insulation fibers in between, in the same time, vertical brick sun breakers were put in front of widows on an inclined angle for east and west elevations. The external double walls enabled designing flexible facades with long vertical and horizontal openings. Sun barkers also are used as architectural aesthetic elements in facades using joyful colors
